Fest!
Sorry, I dont know how else to contact some of you, so I'll o it here!
On the 15th of Ju-ly (July), there will be Plan-It-X Fest at the First United Methodist Church of Western Springs. The address is 4300 Howard Ave, Western Springs. There will be a free day of picnics, kickball, four-suare, water balloon fights and more. All of thiswill be at a park next to the church. At 4:00-5:00 PM, a $10 concert will begin until midnight with seven bands of genres including folk, punk, and folk-punk. Some of these bands are absolutely spec-tac-u-lar! The violin song near the end of Iris was by Defiance Ohio, who will be performing.
Actually, the line-up is (not in this order):
Dave Dean (Comedy/music)
Nice and Friendly (my folk band- see ty sing, play harmonica, tambourine to a singing guitarist!)
Erin Tobey (beautiful voice and her guitar)
Rosa (huge band- southern folk)
This Bike is a Pipe Bomb (cant really explain)
Ghost Mice (guitar, violin, vocals)
Madeline (beautiful voice and her guitar)
The Max Levine Ensemble (punk rock)
One Reason (punk rock)
The Door-Keys (punk rock)
Defiance Ohio (guitar, vocals, upright bass, cello, violin, drums, harmonica)
Just thought some of you might like it, so i figured i'd let you know.
